International Charity Organization Inaugurates Two Residential Villages and Educational Projects in Senegal and Benin

A delegation from the International Charity Organization, headed by its Secretary-General, H.E. Dr. Khalid Al Khaja, has inaugurated two residential villages, along with a range of educational and community service projects in Africa. The first village, dedicated to orphans, is located in Benin and comprises 100 homes, while the second is in Senegal and comprises 50 homes. These projects will help provide beneficiaries with a safe and stable living environment.

Both villages feature fully integrated facilities, including a mosque, a Qur’an memorization centre, a well providing clean water, a health centre, and classrooms. These facilities are designed to meet the essential needs of families and children while enhancing access to education, healthcare, and social stability.

H.E. Dr. Khalid Abdulwahab Al Khaja, Secretary-General of the International Charity Organization, affirmed that the inauguration of these projects reflects the Organization’s commitment to implementing comprehensive humanitarian and development initiatives. These efforts go beyond providing immediate assistance to building stable communities capable of overcoming the challenges of daily life, in line with the United Arab Emirates’ deeply rooted humanitarian approach to supporting communities in need around the world.

His Excellency said: “Our vision at the International Charity Organization extends beyond building homes and providing shelter. It is about empowering people and creating a better future for them and their families. Every home we inaugurate represents a fresh start for a family, every classroom opens a door to hope, and every well and health centre helps protect lives and preserve human dignity.”

He added: “We are committed to ensuring that our charitable projects have a lasting impact. That is why we work to establish fully integrated villages and residential communities that bring together housing, education, healthcare, worship, and access to water. This approach ensures that local communities benefit from these projects over the long term and strengthens their ability to achieve stability and development.”

Al Khaja expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the philanthropists and donors who contributed to the completion of these projects, emphasizing that their generosity remains a fundamental pillar of the Organization’s ongoing humanitarian mission and its efforts to expand the reach of its projects around the world.
