His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, reviewed the achievements and humanitarian projects of the International Charity Organization across its areas of operation worldwide.
His Highness praised the Organization's humanitarian role in supporting vulnerable communities and emphasized the importance of continuing its efforts in a manner that reflects and strengthens the humanitarian mission of the United Arab Emirates.
The Ruler of Ajman also commended the Organization's field initiatives both within the UAE and internationally. He directed that its humanitarian efforts be intensified in the Syrian Arab Republic by providing various forms of assistance to the Syrian people. His Highness stressed the importance of contributing to stability, supporting the reconstruction of affected areas, and assisting vulnerable families through carefully planned projects and initiatives that deliver sustainable humanitarian and developmental impact.
These remarks were made during a meeting at the Amiri Diwan, where His Highness received H.E. Dr. Khaled Abdulwahab Al Khaja, Secretary General of the International Charity Organization, who presented a comprehensive report outlining the Organization's key achievements and projects across numerous countries.
The report highlighted projects implemented in the fields of healthcare, education, food assistance, and emergency relief. It also covered water well drilling, mosque construction, support for underprivileged families, and a wide range of other humanitarian and development initiatives.
His Highness listened to a presentation on the long-term positive impact of these projects in improving quality of life, strengthening infrastructure, and creating safer, healthier, and more stable communities in beneficiary regions. He also praised the Organization's humanitarian efforts in reinforcing the UAE's position as a global leader in charitable and humanitarian work and in delivering aid to those in need around the world.
For his part, H.E. Dr. Khaled Abdulwahab Al Khaja affirmed that the continuous guidance and support provided by His Highness the Ruler of Ajman serve as a key motivation for the Organization to continue its humanitarian mission and expand its projects into new countries and regions. He noted that this reflects the UAE leadership's vision of promoting the values of generosity, compassion, and global humanitarian solidarity.
He added that the Organization's field strategy focuses on implementing projects that create sustainable humanitarian and developmental impact by directly improving people's lives. These include providing clean water to underserved and disaster-affected communities, supporting education to invest in future generations, and implementing healthcare initiatives, particularly in areas lacking essential medical services and facilities.
The Organization also continues to establish fully serviced residential villages, construct mosques and Qur'an memorization centers, distribute copies of the Holy Qur'an, and implement numerous other humanitarian and development projects that improve the lives of communities in need.
Dr. Al Khaja concluded by reaffirming that the International Charity Organization remains committed to carrying out its humanitarian mission in line with the UAE's enduring approach of promoting generosity and humanitarian solidarity, while ensuring that aid reaches those who need it most across the world.
