The New Board of Trustees of the International Charity Organization Praises the Organization's Achievements

The Board of Trustees of the International Charity Organization held its first meeting after its reformation, chaired by Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Nuaimi. The board reviewed the financial and administrative performance report, approved the strategic plan for the next five years, and praised the achievements of the Organization in 2025.

Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Nuaimi announced that the volume of the Organization's projects reached 360 million dirhams during the first eight months of the year, of which 72 million dirhams were spent within the UAE, accounting for 20% of the total projects. He expressed his appreciation for the support from the wise leadership, stating, "The Board of Trustees will work on developing the Organization's public policies to align with the directions of the wise leadership in establishing the UAE's position as a global capital for humanitarian work. We affirm that the Organization will continue to adopt an innovation-driven approach in implementing its initiatives and using smart digital solutions to facilitate donations and enhance communication with donors and philanthropists around the world."

His Excellency pointed out the role of the Board of Trustees in shaping the future leadership of the International Charity Organization and enhancing its efficiency in humanitarian and charitable work both within the UAE and abroad. He expressed confidence in the board's ability to lead the Organization toward further progress in performance and giving, based on its history of over 41 years of achievements.

He emphasized that the Organization will continue to adhere to the highest standards of governance and transparency, which will enhance trust in its work and ensure the sustainability of its humanitarian impact. He further explained that the next phase will witness the launch of a series of qualitative initiatives and development projects that meet the needs of impoverished communities in the fields of education, healthcare, and empowering productive families.

For his part, His Excellency Dr. Khaled Al-Khaja, the Secretary-General of the International Charity Organization, announced that the Organization has been able to extend a helping hand to millions of those in need. Thanks firstly to Allah and then the generosity of generous people, its efforts have reached 24 countries worldwide, in various fields, most notably the sponsorship and care of orphans, social welfare, seasonal projects, water projects, mosque and village construction, education, health, and relief aid projects.

His Excellency reviewed the field efforts of the Organization through a special report on previous visits to the most needy areas, the challenges faced by the Organization's teams during travel, and the mechanism for selecting projects and determining countries according to an annual schedule that meets the needs of impoverished regions around the world.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Board expressed gratitude to the teams and donors for their efforts in supporting the Organization's projects and achieving its mission of spreading values of goodness and humanitarian solidarity, reaffirming that giving will remain the fundamental pillar of the Organization’s journey as it has since its establishment.
