Cooperation Agreement Between the International Charity Organization and Julphar in Support of Humanitarian Projects

The International Charity Organization has signed a cooperation agreement with Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries (Julphar), with the aim of supporting charitable and relief projects by providing medicines and medical supplies as donations directed to those in need within the United Arab Emirates and abroad, particularly in African countries where healthcare is lacking.

The agreement represents a pioneering step in the field of social responsibility, aiming to strengthen partnerships in the realm of giving and to present an advanced model of cooperation between the charitable sector and the national pharmaceutical industry.

Under the agreement, Julphar will provide the organization with periodic lists of medications available for donation, and the organization will direct these within its projects, in accordance with applicable legal frameworks and procedures. The agreement also includes cooperation in joint community initiatives, exchange of expertise, and media coordination to highlight these efforts.

In this context, His Excellency Dr. Khalid Abdulwahab Al Khaja, Secretary General of the International Charity Organization, stated:

We believe that joint efforts enhance our ability to reach the most vulnerable groups and reflect everyone’s commitment to the principle of social responsibility. We hope this partnership will be the beginning of broader initiatives that serve humanity wherever it may be."

It reflects the civilized image of companies in the UAE and highlights Julphar’s ongoing commitment to assisting patients and healthcare institutions in the most underserved areas.
