The International Charity Organization Launches the 2025 Mosques and Wells Campaign

The International Charity Organization has launched its 2025 Mosques and Wells Campaign under the slogan “A Lasting Gift, an Ongoing Impact.” The campaign aims to build, maintain, and furnish mosques, as well as to dig and repair wells and provide clean water in impoverished areas around the world—enhancing its developmental role in serving the most vulnerable communities.

His Excellency Dr. Khalid Al Khaja, Secretary-General of the Organization, emphasized that the campaign is a response to the urgent needs of remote villages, where residents suffer greatly in their struggle to collect contaminated water from distant locations, and are forced to pray under trees or in old, unsafe mosques. The Organization felt compelled to leave a meaningful mark with lasting impact and ongoing reward through a campaign that directly addresses these needs.

His Excellency explained that the campaign's projects will be sustainable by equipping wells and mosques with solar energy. He revealed that the initiative will cover African countries as well as several Arab countries affected by conflict, such as Syria and Palestine. He also called on generous donors to support the campaign’s projects and initiatives, affirming that their continued giving remains the bridge through which the Organization reaches thousands of people in need across the globe.
