The International Charity Organization announced that a philanthropist has donated to cover the treatment of little Malia, who suffers from the rare spinal muscular atrophy disease, with the treatment costs amounting to 7.64 million AED.

The Organization is among the leading charities that take on such critical cases. Malia’s condition had previously been presented to the public as part of its humanitarian initiatives, and the response of the benefactor has brought renewed hope to her family after their struggle with the illness.

He praised the spirit of generosity and compassion that characterizes the people of the UAE and its residents, and also extended thanks to everyone who helped by sharing the case on social media platforms.

He said: “This noble support to save little Malia reflects the highest forms of benevolence and reaffirms the authenticity of our society in extending a hand to the sick. The Organization is committed to serving as a bridge between benefactors and those in need, in order to strengthen the values of goodness and solidarity upon which the UAE was founded.”
