The International Charity Organization Implements 850 Wells in the Summer Campaign

The International Charity Organization announced the drilling and maintenance of 850 wells at a cost of 6 million dirhams in the neediest regions around the world since the launch of the Summer Campaign on 18th May, with the total cost exceeding 6 million dirhams.

H.E. Dr. Khaled Al-Khaja, Secretary-General of the International Charity Organization, stated that through these projects, they aim to provide clean water sources to communities suffering from water scarcity and to improve their quality of life. This has a direct impact on reducing the spread of diseases and epidemics and supporting community stability, especially in areas affected by drought or conflict. He affirmed that this achievement is a continuation of the Organization’s approach in implementing sustainable humanitarian and development projects that serve people wherever they are.

He explained that the well-drilling projects in various areas of operation were carried out according to technical standards that ensure service sustainability for many years, taking into account the needs of each region and the number of beneficiaries. He pointed out that the Organization is keen on following up on these projects in the field to ensure quality execution and safe usage.

Al-Khaja expressed his thanks and appreciation to the donors and supporters who contributed to achieving this humanitarian accomplishment, stressing that their continuous cooperation is the main driving force behind the success of the initiatives implemented by the Organization inside and outside the UAE. He noted that this achievement stands as a testament to the deeply rooted values of solidarity and generosity in Emirati society.

He added that the Organization is proceeding with its plans to implement more water projects in the upcoming period as part of its strategy focused on supporting the most needy communities and providing them with the means for a dignified life.
