Samira.. From Orphanhood to Excellence

Niger

Samira Jibril, a true success story, was born in Niger, the land of the poor. Orphanhood tore her dreams apart, and harsh conditions increased her suffering. Between the difficulties of living and the dream of continuing her studies, there had to be a glimmer of hope or a lifeline to compensate for the loss.

This is what happened, after a benefactor contacted the International Charity Organization, and sponsored Samira for years, and helped her complete her journey in obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, and completing her Master's degree at King Mohammed VI University in Morocco.

Samira benefited from the comprehensive care program for orphans and their families, through specialized technological workshops and courses, and worked in the organization's office in Niger.

Her ambition today is to obtain a doctorate degree, and to contribute to serving her country, by combating malnutrition amongst children in Niger, and to have an impact and influence in promoting sustainable health development.
