Dubai Islamic Bank provided an amount of 12 million AED to the International Charity Organization, with the aim of supporting categories of needy families who deserve zakat within the UAE.
On this occasion, His Excellency Dr. Khaled Abdul Wahab Al Khaja, Secretary-General of the Authority, said: "Dubai Islamic Bank is our partner on the path of goodness and giving, and is no stranger to this type of initiative and it is an embodiment of it's noble values. For years, it has been able to help thousands of families and relieve the distress of many, those in debt and reuniting them with their loved ones in a step that embodies the most beautiful images of social solidarity."
His Excellency expressed his thanks and appreciation to the bank’s management and all those responsible for it, stressing that this gift will be disbursed to the categories that deserve zakat and are registered in the Organization’s records. Asking Allah to bless them and place this work on the scale of their good deeds.
