The International Charity Organisation announced that the total value of projects covering tuition fees for students facing financial difficulties in the UAE has exceeded 15 million AED since the beginning of this year.
His Excellency Dr Khalid Abdulwahab Al Khaja, Secretary-General of the Organisation, said: “These projects and initiatives reflect the Organisation’s commitment to supporting education and helping ease the financial burden on beneficiary families, enabling our students to continue their education in a stable and supportive environment that encourages success and excellence.”
He added: “We believe that education opens the doors to the future for students and provides them with the tools they need to continue their educational journey. For this reason, every year we dedicate a separate campaign to supporting education under the slogan ‘Let’s Brighten Their Future’, with the aim of providing for the needs of students and families and helping them begin their academic year with confidence and stability.”
He explained that the educational initiatives are not limited to providing financial support, but also aim to strengthen family and educational stability and enable students to overcome challenges that stand in the way of their ambitions. He also praised the role of donors, supporters, and the Organisation’s partners in ensuring the success of its humanitarian and educational initiatives.
