International Charity Organization Provides 792,500 AED to Support Inmates of the Correctional and Rehabilitation Institution

As part of its ongoing efforts to promote the values of social solidarity and extend support to those most in need, the International Charity Organization has announced a humanitarian initiative allocating 792,500 AED to relieve the financial hardship of a number of inmates at the Correctional and Rehabilitation Institution.

H.E. Dr. Khaled Al Khaja, Secretary General of the International Charity Organization, presented a cheque for the allocated amount to the Correctional and Rehabilitation Institution in Ajman.

On the occasion, Dr. Al Khaja said: "At the International Charity Organization, we believe that charitable work extends far beyond providing financial assistance. It also means helping people overcome hardship, resolving their difficulties, and standing by them and their families during times of need.

This commitment is rooted in the teachings of our faith and reflects the vision of our wise leadership, which has made charitable work an integral part of our society, while ensuring the dignity, privacy, and respect of all beneficiaries across our humanitarian initiatives."

For his part, H.E. Colonel Mohammed Mubarak Al Ghafli, Director of the Correctional and Rehabilitation Institution in Ajman, expressed his appreciation for the noble humanitarian initiative, noting that it reflects the spirit of solidarity and cooperation within the community.

He added: "We highly value the International Charity Organization's continued support for the Institution's inmates. This initiative directly helps relieve their financial burdens and enables them to begin a new chapter in their lives by overcoming difficult circumstances.

It also enhances their rehabilitation and successful reintegration into society, in line with the Institution's strategy of providing comprehensive rehabilitative care for inmates."
