A grocery project in Senegal

Senegal

Umi is a mother of orphans living at Bikin district in Senegal. She received a fund form IHCO (720.000 African Franc) in 2014 after she was granted a shop from the municipality there. Hence, she qualified her shop to sell soft drinks, newspapers and candy.

After receiving the fund, she was able to embower her shop  with new copy machines. Many customers visit the shop that is near the police station. This was reflected positively on the mothers’ life conditions. The mother expanded her house and enrolled her children in a very distinctive school.
