The International Humanitarian Charity Organization (IHCO) Provides relief to the flood victims in Sudan, coinciding with the International Day of Charity

His Excellency Dr. Khaled Abdel-Wahab Al-Khaja, CEO of the International Humanitarian Charity Organization, announced that they provided 5 thousand food parcels to those affected by the flood disaster in the capital city of Khartoum, and several villages in Sudan that were swept away from their homes by floods.

Al-Khaja also said that the delegations visit to the Republic of Sudan, in light of the current circumstances, was imposed by the poor conditions of the effected people and the calls for relief and that the delegation’s arrival in Khartoum coincided with the state’s participation with the world in its celebration of the International Day of Charitable Work, which falls on September 5 of each year. The UAE, especially, is a pioneer in the paths of charitable work, and its record has a long and distinguished history in the field of charitable and humanitarian work, during which it contributed to alleviating the suffering of the needy and extending a helping hand to all peoples of the world.

This year, the occasion acquires exceptional importance as it coincides with the emerging crisis of the "Corona" virus. The UAE has shown the most amazing examples of solidarity with all countries of the world, and standing by them in the face of the repercussions of the pandemic, and providing all aspects of support and relief.
